who was durvasa rishi born?

Durvasa was the son of sage Sati Aansuyua and Atri.He was very angry and all the gods feared him.He was a great ascetic and was a part of Lord Shiva. King Amrish was a devotee of Lord Vishnu.

• Once Raja Amrish who observed fast on Ekadashi. Durvasa went to meet the sage king.

• The king bowed and greeted the sage with great love.

• Made arrangements for the sage’s food, drink and rest.
• The first sage said that I will take bath before eating.Rishi Durvasa went to take bath.
• The king had to complete the Ekadashi fast.Rishi was very late in arriving.

• Rishi had not come yet.Even the king could not eat until the food was served to the guest.
• Some sages were sitting at the king’s place and they said, that you can break your fast by taking a sip of water.
• The king drank a sip of water.As soon as the king drank the water, the sage Darwaja came forward.
• The sage misunderstood that the king had eaten the food.

• The sage matted a demon by pulling the jata from his head.The demon wanted to kill the king.
• Then Sudarshan Chakra came there and killed the demon.

• Then Sudarshan Chakra followed the sage.First Sudarshan kept following the sage and remained behind.

• When copper sage went to Lord Vishnu,So Lord Vishnu said that I am present in front of the devotee also.
• Lord Vishnu said that you go to him devotee.
• The sage came to the devotee king.And the sage came to the king and apologized.

• Sudarshan left the sage.Then the sage understood that it was not my knowledge but my pride that made me want to kill the king.
• The king also forgave the sage and hugged him.
