How was Vaishno Devi born?

There is a temple of Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra, Jammu. which is the center of faith of Hinduism. Mata Vaishno Devi is established in the form of three Pindis, Lakshmi, Kali and Saraswati. The place of Mata Vaishno is in the cave of Trikuta mountain.mother Vaishno Devi’s name was Trikuta, her father’s name was Ratnaghar Sagar.

• In Treta Yuga, the demons did penance and took many boons from the gods and after that the demons started troubling the gods and giving them a lot of trouble.
• Even the gods were hiding here and there out of fear. Lord Vishnu was upset after seeing everything. but couldn’t do anything.

• Seeing all this, Lakshmi,Kali and Saraswati Mata thought that the gods and the mind are all troubled, they should do something.
• The three goddesses created a divine girl with their power and infused their powers into her.
• There was a king in South India who was a devotee of Vishnu. A divine girl was born in his house whose name was Ratnakar Sagar.

Was the king daughter beautiful?

• The king was very happy to see that the girl had such a beautiful form, bright light and a lovely face. she named the girl Trikuta.
• This girl was gaining divine knowledge since childhood. wanted to have Lord Vishnu as her husband.
• At the age of nine, Trikuta asked his father for permission to do penance.
• When Trikuta was born the king took the singular. He will not interfere in any work of his child. then king gave permission to Trikuta. The king knew that this divine girl was born with a special purpose.
• Now Trikuta went to a forest on the banks of a river to do penance. Some time had passed since Trikuta was absorbed in penance.

Who did ram meet on the way?

• When Shri Ram passed by in search of Mother Sita, Trikuta saw Shri Ram ji and recognized him. Ram ji is the incarnation of Vishnu.
• Trikuta, after seeing Ram ji, proposed marriage to him. So Ram ji said that Sita will be my wife in this birth.
• Ram ji, one more thing to say, when I go to Ayodhya with Sita, I will come to meet you. If you recognize me then I will marry you.
• Then after some time Ram ji was going to Ayodhya with Sita. On the way he met Trikuta in the form of a sage. Trikuta did not recognize Shri Ram Ji.
• When Ramji told Trikuta that I cannot marry you, Trikuta became very disappointed after hearing this.
• Ram ji told Trikuta not to be disappointed. You go to Trikuta mountain and do penance.
• The goddesses are seated there in the form of three deviyan.
• Go there and wait for me, I will take the kalki avatar and marry you.

• You are the form of those three goddesses and people will know you as Vaishno Devi.
• There was a Pandit in a village whose name was Shridhar. He was a great devotee of Mother Goddess.Mata Vaishno appeared in a dream to Shridhar and told about his cave in Trikoot mountain. Pandit Shridhar reached there.
• visited vaishno mata in the form of three idols.

• Even today people come from far away to visit Mata Vaishno.
