narasimha, an incarnation of Vishnu who destroyed unrighteousness and protected his devotee prahlad. The temple of Narasimha is situated in the hills of himanchal. Prahlad was such a devotee of Lord Vishnu who was immersed in devotion while still in the mother,s womb. Prahlad had a son and a grandson.
Let us know from the beginning why Lord Vishnu had to take the incarnation of Narasimha?
- When there was no creation, no war, no noise, no religion, no religion, nothing. So Lord Brahma gave birth to a sage whose name was Kashyap. So Lord Brahma ordered sage Kashyap to increase the creation. Kashyap Rishi again accepted 13 wives narasimha.

- Rishi Kashyap had a wife, Diti, who gave birth to two sons. One’s name was Harnakshap and one’s name was Hiran Kashyap. The war between religion and unrighteousnesswas about to start from his birth.
- Both of them were angry and had a lot of hatred towards the gods. Harnakshap pulled the earth to the undarworld by his devotion. Lord Vishnu saved the earth by taking the form of Varaha and killed Harnakshap.
- When Hiran Kashyap came to know that his brother had been killed by Lord Vishnu, he started considering Lord Vishnu even more as his enemy.
- So he went for penance and did penance for Lord Brahma for thousands of years. One day Brahma ji appeared. And he said, I am happy by your devotion.
Tell me, what boon do you ask for?
- Hiran Kashyap said, O Lord, may I never die. I should not die, neither from any human being, nor from any animal, nor inside nor outside, nor during the day, nor at night, nor from any god or demon, neither by weapon nor by arms, nor in the sky, nor on the earth.He took this boon very cleverly.
- Lord Brahma gave him a boon.
- After that, Hiran Kashyap started considering himself as God and he declared that from today onwards I am God and no one used the name of Brahma Vishnu Mahesh.
- He built his city of gold and silver. I made some pictures of myself in it. And under his rule he would kill anyone who took the name of God.
- Keyado of Hiran Kashyap’s wife who became pregnant and went to Narad ji’s ashram. and I, as a child, used to listen to all the stories and satsangs in Narad’s ashram.
- A child was born to kyado,s family whose name was parhlad. He was a devotee of Vishnu since childhood. and used to chant Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya.

- When Prahlad’s father came to know about this, he got even more angry. He stopped prahlad from worshiping. He called his gurus and asked them to erase the name of Vishnu from his mind.
- So prahlad remained steadfast in his devotion. So Prahlad’s father got more angry. He got them crushed by elephants, bitten by snakes, oil- soaked and dropped from the mountain.
- The king mad with anger called prahlad and now he called his vishnu.
- So king attacked with a guraj in prahlad.that guraj got into one of his pillar.
- That pillar broke, a very bright light came out of it.hirankahyap got scared.
- From that pillar emerged narsimha the incarnation of lord Vishnu.
- There was a ferece battle between the two.
- So narsimha placed the king on the threshold of the court.
- Then tore his stomach with her nails.
- It was neither day nor night, were neither inside or not outside, he was killed according to his terms.
- Narsimha form was so rudra that he didn’t calm down even after his death.
- So prahlad calmed the anger of his lord, then narsimha blessed him that he would reside on the hills of cimachal and protect the devotees.
- So prahlad was made the king of the demon clan city of sonitpur, narashima.
