how was ganesha born?

Ganesh ji was the son of Parvati.They are also called Vighnaharta and they like modak to eat. Rat is his ride and ganesha ji is Karthik’s younger brother.

• After that a war started between Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha.

• After a short fight, Lord Shiva cut off the head of Lord Ganesha.

• Meanwhile, when Mother Parvati came out after taking bath, she saw that her son’s head had been cut off.
• Seeing son head cut off, Mother Parvati became angry and started an orgy.

• When Lord Shiva came to know that this was the son of Parvati, then Lord Shiva sent his songs to earth to pacify Parvati.

• Lord Shiva brought Ganesha back to life by placing the head of a baby elephant on his head.

• Then Lord Shiva pacified Mother Parvati.

• Lord Shiva promised to Mother Parvati.And after today, whoever performs puja will have to worship Ganesha first.Only then will his worship be successful.
• After that Shivji and Parvati hugged Ganesha.
